The MicroLog uses CompactFlash (CF) Type I cards for recording voice files. The nice thing about the CF card is that it can be purchased at many electronic stores worldwide. The MicroLog accepts CF cards of multiple capacities.

The high, medium and basic settings change the quality of compression. If you use the medium or basic settings the loop function and rewind and forward features on the MicroLog will not be operational.

The CF card can be removed from the MicroLog to transfer the recording files to your PC. Eject the CF card (when not recording) from the MicroLog and insert it into a CF to PC Card Adapter (not included). With the help of the MicroLog PC Player the recording files will be put to a database which can be used for searching, playback and converting.
